Technology and Business Analyst

Join the North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (DOCR) as a Technology & Business Analyst and help improve how a complex statewide organization uses data and technology to make decisions.

• Gather and document business, data, reporting, and technology requirements
• Analyze workflows, systems, and processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
• Develop and improve dashboards, reports, datasets, and analytical tools
• Lead and provide oversight for technology projects and system implementations, including coordinating testing and validation activities
• Improve data quality, consistency, accessibility, and governance practices
• Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Work across teams to solve data, reporting, system, and process challenges
• Support communication, training, and adoption of new tools and processes

• Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, business analytics, information systems, computer science, public administration, business administration, project management, or a closely related field
• At least three years of hands‑on experience in data analysis, business analysis, reporting, technology projects, or related analytical work
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and criminal record check

Location: The position is located at DOCR Central Office in Bismarck, ND and may be eligible for hybrid work after the successful completion of the probationary period.
