Position: Spectrum Application Support Analyst (II, III, or IV)

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the project management, implementation, integration, automation, and maintenance of company applications, decision support/reporting applications, and/or ERP systems. This role requires strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to understand and manage multiple software packages to support the company’s operations. The analyst provides guidance related to the redesign of business processes and workflows, understands and documents the company’s direction, develops training, and provides end user support.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Spectrum Application Support Analyst II

  • Knowledge of technical concepts at a level normally acquired through the completion of a four‑year degree in computer science, information systems or related field; and
  • Two years’ experience in a business analyst, data analyst or similar analytical role.

Spectrum Application Support Analyst III

  • Knowledge of technical concepts at a level normally acquired through the completion of a four‑year degree in computer science, information systems or related field; and
  • Four years’ experience in a business analyst, data analyst or similar analytical role.

Spectrum Application Support Analyst IV

  • Knowledge of technical concepts at a level normally acquired through the completion of a four‑year degree in computer science, information systems or related field; and
  • Seven years’ experience in a business analyst, data analyst or similar analytical role.

Internal title for this position will be Business Applications Analyst.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborates directly with end‑users and internal teams to formally gather and document business solution requirements, understand data needs, and provide analytical support for decision‑making.
  • Gathers, cleans, and maintains data from various sources, including project management software, financial systems, and field reports.
  • Ensures integrity and accuracy of data and other solutions through regular audits and validation processes.
  • Provides application training and assistance to users, helping them find or utilize information.
  • Generates comprehensive reports and dashboards to present findings to stakeholders, including project managers and executives.
  • Responsible for staying up to date with the latest updates, features, and best practices for the tools used, while also seeking opportunities for process improvement.
  • Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
  • Responsible for the support and administration of the ERP system to facilitate reliable performance, integrity, and security.
  • Monitors ERP security and manages user access and permissions.
  • Leads the planning, testing, and deployment of new modules, upgrades, and patches in or related to ERP.
  • Documents ERP and related system processes and conducts end‑user training to promote effective use and best practices.
  • Completes and manages support requests to ensure timely resolution of issues or bugs.
KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Requires leadership, independent judgement and creative thinking.
  • Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Must have in‑depth knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures relating to business applications with specialized skills.
  • Understanding of data security and compliance standards, along with the ability to maintain the confidentiality of all company information.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in automation practices and integration workflows.
  • Knowledge of other construction industry software (time collection, project management, estimation, modeling and design, etc.)
  • Knowledge of construction industry workflows (job costing, accounting, payroll, etc.)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience with Trimble's Viewpoint Spectrum and/or Sage 100.
BENEFITS PACKAGE
  • Salary Range: $73,610 – $121,620
