To maximize bituminous plant production through monitoring equipment operation and performing preventative maintenance.

• Perform daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained
• Safely and properly perform maintenance and start up of Blacktop Plant
• Monitory blacktop production
• Verify blacktop meets specifications
• Monitor oil consumption of blacktop plant
• Complete daily progress reports
• Shovel excess material away from plant
• Fill silo
• Tear down and set up blacktop plant
• Calibrate blacktop plant
• Assist with repairs
• Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written);
  Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations & act courteous/respectful of others.
• Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.).
• Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisor.
• Ensure MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance. Good housekeeping skills. Lockout/Tagout.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• General education, grammar and arithmetic. GED or high school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical & electrical experience
• Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure, medical card and acceptable driving record
