In this role, you have the opportunity to gain practical work experience through a temporary position. You acquire new knowledge daily by performing the tasks assigned to you. At the same time, you bring in your expertise by supporting the operations at ABB, thus further developing your personal and professional growth.

You are mainly responsible for:

• Provision of raw materials and semi-finished products for production
• Review of materials for quality and quantity (work plan and parts list)
• Material preparation from the Kanban shelf
• Operation and supervision of a production machine or workstation according to instructions
• Assembly of components as specified
• Packaging of finished products and preparation for internal shipment
• Visual inspection of products for defects and flaws
• Documentation of inspection results and reporting of deviations (inventory control slip, payroll slips, work slips)
• Cleaning of workstations and machines (5S) according to specifications
• Disposal of production waste in accordance with environmental regulations
• Daily participation in the shopfloor meeting, coordination with the foreman/setter, the controller, and staff from the quality department and service
• Conducting the shift handover according to standard procedures
• Review of the workstation according to specifications and reporting of deviations

• Reliable, meticulous, and independent working style
• Teamwork and good communication skills in everyday work
• Willingness to work shifts and physical stamina
• Quality awareness and responsible handling of work tools
