Production Manager

The Production Manager is a hands‑on, leadership-driven role responsible for overseeing plant operations at the Bismarck, Missouri facility. The role creates a culture of safety first, continuous improvement, employee development, and operational excellence while fostering cross‑functional collaboration across Quality, Maintenance, HR, Logistics, and other departments.

• Providing leadership and coaching to production supervisors and employees to meet all safety, environmental, quality, cost, and service goals.
• Partnering with the Quality Control Coordinator to ensure finished products meet customer requirements through continuous improvement and the plant's quality management system.
• Working with the Maintenance Manager to keep equipment reliable, efficient, and cost‑effective.
• Leading the reliability strategy and involving production employees in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
• Co‑ordinating with Shipping and Receiving to optimize the manufacturing schedule and adjust as necessary to deliver timely service to customers.
• Partnering with HR on performance management, employee engagement, organizational change, staffing, and development.
• Driving continuous improvement using Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, 5S, and other methodologies.
• Ensuring training in Safety, Quality, and Process is effective and complete.
• Mentoring direct reports and building an accountable, results‑oriented team.
• Maintaining plant housekeeping and a 5S program to sustain improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree is a plus; relevant work experience will also be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in Lean and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Proven history of operational enhancements through employee engagement.
• Ability to achieve results individually and as part of a team.
