In this role, you have the opportunity to gain practical work experience through a temporary position. You acquire new knowledge daily by performing the tasks assigned to you. At the same time, you bring your expertise to support the operations at ABB, further developing your personal and professional growth.

You are mainly responsible for:

• Provision of raw materials and semi-finished products for production
• Review of materials for quality and quantity (work plan and parts list)
• Material preparation from the Kanban shelf
• Operation and supervision of a production machine or workstation according to instructions
• Assembly of components as per instructions
• Packaging of finished products and preparation for internal shipment
• Visual inspection of products for defects and faults
• Documentation of test results and reporting of deviations (goods control slip, payroll slips, work slips)
• Cleaning of workplaces and machines (5S) according to instructions
• Disposal of production waste in accordance with environmental regulations
• Daily participation in the shopfloor meeting, coordination with the foreperson/setter, the controller, and staff from the quality department and service
• Conducting the shift handover according to standard procedures
• Reviewing the workplace according to instructions and reporting deviations

• Teamwork and good communication skills in everyday work
• Willingness to work in shifts and physical resilience
• Quality awareness and responsible handling of work tools
