Responsibilities
  • Lead the Team: supervise and guide a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to standard.
  • Oversee Maintenance Operations: manage preventive maintenance and equipment repairs, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: act as the go‑to person for diagnosing and solving complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Coordinate with Departments: collaborate with production and other teams to prioritize maintenance needs and reduce disruption.
  • Ensure Safety & Compliance: ensure all safety protocols, policies, and regulatory standards are followed on the job.
  • Manage Inventory: oversee inventory levels and ensure the team has the tools and parts needed for successful repairs and maintenance.
  • Safety First: follow all company safety protocols, including LOCKOUT/TAGOUT procedures, and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to maintain a safe, compliant, and high‑performance environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED and 1+ years of related experience and/or training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing, OR 4 years of direct experience in a similar environment.
  • Vocational Diploma, Technical Diploma, or associate degree from a technical maintenance or vocational school (preferred).
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of personnel and outside contractors.
  • Ability to operate a forklift, Genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial truck (PIT); attendance at “Train the Trainer” required.
  • Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to read and execute work orders, write daily reports, and translate equipment manuals.
  • Relocation Package Available.
