** Mill Operator
** at our
** Carrington, ND
** durum milling and pasta production facility, where we produce Dakota Growers pasta.
** Responsibilities:
*** Operate milling equipment at optimum levels to ensure designated quality and extraction levels
* Monitor regrind system and work with packaging personnel to keep the system running efficiently
* Maintain Master Sanitation Schedule and HACCP documentation
* Perform duties and responsibilities of the Grain Receiver/Loader position on an as-needed basis
* Proactively identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities
*
* Qualifications:

*** High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
* Must successfully complete IAOM correspondence course in Milling Science within one year of beginning role as Mill Operator
*
* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Excellent written and verbal communication, and computer skills
* 2+ years in manufacturing environment with wheat milling experience
* Mechanical ability to operate and maintain milling equipment
*
* Physical Requirements:

** Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:
* Crouch, stoop, kneel, reach above shoulders, bend, balance, climb, work on ladder, push, pull, grasp, feel, perform fine manipulation, operate foot pedals, lift/carry, sit, stand and walk for extended periods
* Work in dusty, high heat/humidity environments and confined spaces
* Willing to wear a respirator as needed
* Make fine distinctions by sound
* Communicate verbally and in writing, and distinguish objects or equipment visually
