Med‑Surg nurses (RN) provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures and for patients receiving medical management. They must be capable of managing a broad range of conditions.
- Complete assignments made by physicians
- Provide routine treatment and post‑surgical care
- Assess changes in patients' health status and perform various treatments
- Administer medication
- Meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other team members
