Job Description

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide advanced health assessment, clinical decision-making, and patient-centered care across all age groups. The role requires independent practice in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals while emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. High-level customer service skills are essential to establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, co‑workers, and the community.

• Perform advanced health assessments and develop patient care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health staff to deliver comprehensive care.
• Provide health care to individuals and families across all ages, focusing on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Adhere to state licensure and DEA requirements, ensuring compliance with institutional credentialing processes.

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physician Assistant program from an accredited institution.
• Experience in Family Medicine, Walk‑in Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine preferred.
• ND licensure and DEA registration required for cross‑coverage.

• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the appropriate state for NP candidates.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the appropriate state.
• Current CPR certification.
• National certification in applicable area.
• Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.

Full‑time, 1.0 FTE. Compensation ranges from $57.42 to $80.39 per hour, with opportunities for additional bonuses, quality incentives, and production‑based compensation.
