Position Details

RN/LPN – Orthopedic Clinic – Sanford Health – Bismarck, ND – 7th & Thayer Clinic – 225 N 7th St – Full time – 40 hours per week – Salary Range: $27.00–$38.50 per hour.

Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in an orthopedic clinic. Duties include assessment, patient education, triage, coordinated care, and various nursing interventions.

• Provide individualized nursing care using assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate care, perform patient assessment and education, triage, and other nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with inter‑professional team members, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Perform specialty orthopedic procedures such as staple/suture removal, cast/splint application and removal, brace application, dressing change assistance, and related tasks.
• Adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and state administrative rules for scope and standards of practice.
• Maintain professional conduct according to the Code of Ethics for Nurses and ANSI guidelines.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Valid RN license issued by the State Board of Nursing; must be unencumbered and may hold multistate licensure in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• Demonstrated competency and completion of required department‐specific licensure, competencies and certifications.
