NP​/PA - Dermatology - Bismarck, ND

Position Summary

Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision‑making skills, works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will assist in follow‑up care after initial consults are performed by dermatologists.

1.0 FTE, full‑time status. Mon‑Fri from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 16–20 patients per day with potential to increase based on provider’s comfort level. No call/no inpatient rounding.

Previous dermatology APP experience required. The position requires a high level of interpersonal skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co‑workers, and others.

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited program/institution.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physician Assistant program from an accredited program/institution.
• Previous dermatology experience required.

• Current licensure as a registered nurse in ND.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in ND.
• Current licensure (or ability to obtain) as a Physician Assistant in appropriate state.
• Current certification in CPR.
• National certification in applicable area.
• Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
