Charge Nurse - RN

Job Summary

We are looking for a full‑time RN to join our team. The position offers hourly wages starting at $33.50/hr with shift differentials up to $3.00/hr for evening and night shifts. The shift is 12 hours during the day. A $30,000 sign‑on bonus is available. PRN opportunities are also open.

Location: Souris Valley Care Center, 300 Main St S, Velva, ND 58790 USA.

This position provides care to assigned residents in a caring, safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities include completing comprehensive nursing assessments on admission and ongoing basis, documenting medication administration, monitoring for pressure ulcers, dehydration, malnutrition, incontinence and pain, performing glucometer testing, implementing behavior interventions, updating resident care plans, using the EMR accurately, documenting all actions, completing behavior documentation and seven‑day observation tools, participating in quality improvement, assisting with MDS forms, ensuring physician orders are processed and notifying physicians, attending rounds, answering call lights, providing resident and family education, and reporting infections and incidents.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Prior work experience in a similar or related position is preferred.
• Maintains required certification/qualifications and associated standards.
• Licensure for state of practice is required.
• Knowledge of basic nursing skills and familiarity with the therapeutic effects and side effects of all medications administered.
