The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized nursing care to patients across preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up. The RN collaborates with inter‑professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care, and performs patient assessment, education, triage, and other nursing interventions. The role operates within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and state administrative rules.

• At least one year of nursing experience.
• At least six months of travel nursing experience.
• Must live at least 60 miles from the location applied for.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA, or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs; multi‑state licensure acceptable if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• Obtain and maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications.

• Weekly payment with stipend included in the weekly pay rate.
• Eligibility for Sanford benefits.
• Contracts of 14 weeks with the option to extend or transition to another Sanford site.
