Clinical & Unit Overview

• Unit Details: MS Float unit combining 61 beds across surgical patients (total joints, fractures, bariatric, urology, general) and medical patients (CHF, CVA, SOB, diabetes).
• Patient Ratios: Days: 1:5;
  Nights: 1:6. Nurse aides ratio is 1:15
  .
• Monitoring & Equipment: Monitor tech reads telemetry strips, RN confirms. Handles CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen equipment. No titration of drips required.
• Floating & Requirements: Floating is required as part of the MS Float pool.
