Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Bismarck, ND

Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Some Day Shifts Required | Weekends Required | Onsite

• Provide nursing care for Labor and Delivery patients, including high-risk cases, throughout the delivery process
• Deliver postpartum care for mother and baby couplets
• Provide gynecological surgical postoperative care
• Perform fetal monitoring using electronic fetal monitors and centralized monitoring systems
• Document patient care using OBIX (L&D) and EPIC (gynecology) charting systems
• Float to the newborn nursery and NICU as needed to provide helping-hands support

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Gynecology
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Willingness to float to the newborn nursery and NICU and to work both night and day shifts including weekends

• STABLE certification preferred
• Experience with OBIX fetal monitoring documentation and centralized monitoring systems
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records

• Work in a well-equipped 19-bed unit with structured nurse-to-patient ratios (1:1–1:2 for L&D 1:3 for mother/baby couplets)
• Receive a 36-hour facility orientation program designed specifically for traveling clinicians
