Description:
This position requires a nurse to provide comprehensive care for labor and delivery patients.
The nurse will manage nursing care during delivery, including high-risk patients.
Postpartum care for mothers and their babies, as well as gynecological surgical postoperative care, is also included.
Proficiency in fetal monitoring and experience with electronic charting systems is essential.
The nurse should be comfortable working in a unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 for labor and delivery, and 1:3 for mother-baby couplets.
Additional responsibilities may include floating to assist in the newborn nursery and NICU as needed.
Candidates must be willing to adhere to the dress code of navy blue scrubs.
