Non-Exempt, Full-Time; generally, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Hours may be adjusted based on program needs and as determined by the Director of Missouri Slope At-Home. Occasional on-call responsibilities (typically 1 week per month and holiday rotation) may be required based on client, staffing, or program needs.

Primary Job Function:The RN Manager provides clinical leadership and oversight for Missouri Slope At-Home nursing services, client care, employee competency, infection prevention and control, and quality assurance and performance improvement. The position assesses client needs, oversees individualized care planning, monitors service quality and safety, coordinates clinical education and competency requirements, and supports compliance with applicable regulatory and organizational standards. The RN Manager collaborates with clients, families, employees, healthcare providers, the Director, Service Manager, and community and regulatory partners to promote safe, high-quality, person-centered care.

• Provide clinical leadership, direction, and oversight of nursing care and client services provided through Missouri Slope At-Home.
• Assess clients' physical, functional, nutritional, and health-related needs; identify changes in condition; and coordinate appropriate intervention, follow-up, and communication.
• Assist with client admissions, service planning, scheduling, and coordination of care.
• Develop, implement, review, and maintain individualized client care plans and related medical information in accordance with client needs, provider orders, applicable regulations, and organizational policies.
• Monitor client conditions and communicate significant changes, concerns, incidents, and other pertinent information to the appropriate parties.
• Maintain complete, accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in the approved electronic record system and other required records.
• Promote client rights, dignity, privacy, independence, safety, and person-centered care.
• Provide clinical direction, education, coaching, and competency oversight to Missouri Slope At-Home employees.
• Coordinate and conduct PCA, QSP, CNA, and other applicable clinical skills training and competency evaluations.
• Ensure employee training and competency requirements are completed and maintained in accordance with North Dakota Qualified Service Provider (QSP) requirements and organizational standards.
• Coordinate applicable Nurse Aide Training Program requirements, including communication with the North Dakota Department of Health, and provide or facilitate training as assigned.
• Assist with employee orientation, clinical onboarding, and ongoing staff development.
• Coordinate and oversee the Missouri Slope At-Home Infection Prevention and Control Program.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report infection prevention and control concerns involving clients, employees, and service environments; investigate exposures and infectious processes and coordinate appropriate follow-up.
• Provide education and direction regarding infection prevention, standard precautions, personal protective equipment, and safety practices.
• Review client incidents, identify risks and trends, coordinate appropriate follow-up, and implement process improvements to promote client safety and quality of care.
• Manage and participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities, including quarterly QAPI meetings and implementation of improvement initiatives.
• Monitor quality, safety, compliance, and service-related trends and recommend or implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop, review, and update applicable policies, procedures, protocols, and educational materials, including required periodic or annual reviews.
• Maintain required records related to employee training and competencies, infection prevention, OSHA, risk management, incidents, and other regulatory requirements.
• Support compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and organizational requirements and collaborate with regulatory and community agencies as needed, including the North Dakota Department of Health, OSHA, Workers' Compensation, and Aging Services.
