22, open bed concept, intermediate or more critical on one side, RN station is in the center of unit for a fish bowl set up
- Nurse:
Patient Ratios:1:2-3, 4 for more feeder growers/ stable patients
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: RDS, SGA, prematurity, hypoglycemia, bilirubin, 23w+, no surgical or g tube placement, intubated and bubble cpap, central lines, NICU RNs will attend deliveries under 36w, IUGR, C section etc, to assist with APGAR
- Experience or 'Must have' skills:2 years of NICU, Level 3-4 experience preferred, must be able to titrate drips.
