Schedule: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, including every other weekend
Highlights:- Level IV NICU accredited by the American Academy of Pediatrics with 40-bed capacity
- Care for critical and intermediate neonates with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 for critical patients, and 1:3 for growing/feeding infants
- Work with advanced equipment including conventional and high-frequency ventilators, nitric oxide, cool cap therapy, and sophisticated monitoring systems
- Epic (One Chart) electronic medical record system with comprehensive training provided
- Opportunity to work with PICC lines, umbilical lines, CPAP, and various neonatal support systems
- Float opportunities to PICU and Pediatrics units for diverse clinical experience
- Active North Dakota RN license or Compact RN license (willingness to obtain ND license required)
- Minimum 2 years of Level IV NICU nursing experience
- Current BLS certification through American Heart Association
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Demonstrated competency administering medications through PICC lines
- Ability and willingness to float to PICU and Pediatrics units
- Epic experience highly preferred
- Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility

AdditionalInformation:
Orientation includes Epic system training and two days with an experienced buddy nurse to assess competency and introduce unit protocols. Professional child-friendly scrubs with role-specific colored pants required. Facility uses badge-in/badge-out system for all clinicians.
