Quality Assurance Analyst
Job Service North Dakota (JSND) (state agency) is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to play a role in supporting quality assurance for the Unemployment Insurance Modernization (UI Mod) Project. The person in this position will work with the QA Manager to perform the following requirements for the State’s quality assurance processes for this multi-year project. Position is % remote.
Primary
Job Responsibilities:
- Design test plans, scenarios, and scripts ensuring they are repeatable and meet the standards
- Create and maintain QA artifact
- Execute all level of testing which includes functional, integration, acceptance and regression
- Document software defect and validate after defect resolution
- Participate in product design reviews and provide input on the functional requirement, schedules, issues, and risk
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of QA testing tools and methodologies that best fit the project need
- Handle issues related to QA testing component within a project
- Adhere to specific QA testing standards and guideline for the project
- Assists in the development of QA testing plans and cases
- Create test data, execute and maintain tests and test scripts
- Review test scripts for completeness and accuracy
Key
Qualifications:
- Background and experience conducting quality assurance on unemployment insurance system projects.
- Experience managing quality assurance for very large projects with multiple stakeholder groups.
- Experience managing quality assurance for information technology projects.
- 3 yrs. Experience with Agile or hybrid agile methodologies.
- 2 yrs. Experience with the entire lifecycle process (start to finish) of quality management.
- 2 yrs. Effective written and oral communication skills and ability to build and maintain solid working relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to develop processes and document them in an understandable manner.
