About the Role

Eide Ford Lincoln is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Part-Time Service Cashier to join our service team. This position plays a key role in creating a positive customer experience by accurately handling payments, coordinating vehicle pick-up, and supporting the service department with essential administrative duties.

What You'll Do

• Accurately calculate and finalize customer bills using the dealership computer system.
• Process payments by cash, check, and credit card while following dealership payment procedures.
• Issue receipts, make change, and maintain accuracy in cash handling.
• Verify daily totals and reconcile cash drawer with receipts.
• Direct customers with additional questions or concerns to the appropriate service staff member.
• Coordinate vehicle pickup with service porters and advisors.
• Maintain customer satisfaction levels as set by the Service Manager.
• File service records promptly and accurately.
• Greet customers promptly and professionally, ensuring a friendly experience in person and over the phone.
• Keep cashier and waiting areas organized and clean.
• Attend department meetings as scheduled.

What We're Looking For

• Positive, customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual, with strong attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills and comfort working with point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to handle cash and reconcile daily transactions accurately.
• Previous cashier or service department experience a plus.
• Must be able to work flexible hours within department operating times.

Work Schedule

Service hours are:
Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Saturday (rotating): 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Your specific schedule will vary depending on department needs.
