Deli Manager

Role Overview: This position involves leading daily retail store operations, ensuring staff training, full staffing, and achievement of company standards and goals.

• Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and quality control to maintain freshness and safety.
• Oversee team activities such as stocking, production, and product rotation, ensuring compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
• Maintain product knowledge, implement sales promotions, and ensure execution of company plans and schedules.
• Develop and manage work schedules, labor control, and payroll expenses.
• Lead staffing, training, performance management, and career development of department associates.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and food safety standards are upheld consistently.
• Develop strategies to meet departmental goals and KPIs, participate in meetings, and execute operational plans.

• High School diploma or GED required; retail experience preferred.
• Leadership experience, strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations and management systems; proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks required in a retail environment.
• Spanish language skills desirable depending on location.
