Retail Associate

DICK'S Sporting Goods seeks a Retail Associate passionate about sports and customer service to deliver an energetic, athlete-focused shopping experience. In this on-site role, you'll greet customers, provide product recommendations, and answer questions across equipment, footwear, and apparel. You'll process transactions accurately, support inventory flow, and maintain clean, organized sales floors and fitting rooms. Working in a performance-driven, team-oriented environment, you'll help achieve sales goals while learning product knowledge and developing retail skills with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and product recommendations to athletes and outdoor enthusiasts
• Maintain merchandise presentation, restocking, and accurate pricing on the sales floor
• Operate POS system, process transactions, returns, and exchanges with accuracy
• Support inventory control, including receiving, tagging, and organizing product in stockrooms
• Promote current sales, loyalty programs, and store events to drive revenue and engagement
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized store environment aligned with brand standards
• Collaborate with teammates to meet performance goals and deliver a high-energy experience
• Continuously learn product knowledge across sports, footwear, and apparel categories
