Retail Department Coordinator

Home Goods, a leader in retail home furnishings, seeks a Retail Department Coordinator to support daily operations in our manufacturing-aligned retail environment. In this role, you will coordinate merchandising, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure an organized, customer-friendly department. Working within Widgets Co's collaborative culture, you'll partner with store leadership to execute floor sets, promotions, and visual standards while guiding associates in best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of assigned retail department to support sales goals
• Coordinate merchandising, product placement, and signage to align with brand standards
• Monitor inventory levels, organize stockroom, and support accurate replenishment
• Assist with pricing, markdowns, and promotional displays
• Support, guide, and train associates on store standards and procedures
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe sales floor and backroom
• Provide customer support, resolving basic issues or escalating as needed
• Collaborate with leadership to implement process improvements and meet KPIs
