Light Diesel Mechanic

Marvin is seeking a Light Diesel Mechanic to support our manufacturing operations by maintaining and repairing light-duty diesel vehicles and plant support equipment. In this role, you will diagnose engine, hydraulic, electrical, and brake issues; perform scheduled preventive maintenance; and ensure equipment operates safely and reliably to keep production and logistics running smoothly. Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair light-duty diesel trucks, forklifts, and plant support equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, brake, and suspension systems using diagnostic tools and manuals.
• Document all work performed, parts used, and inspection findings in maintenance systems.
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to prioritize urgent repairs and equipment needs.
• Follow all Marvin and OSHA safety standards, maintaining a clean, organized work area.
• Assist with root-cause analysis for recurring equipment issues and recommend improvements.
• Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives in the maintenance program.
