Finish​/Trim Carpenter

Paramount Builders is looking to add a Finish/Trim Carpenter to our growing team!

Our ideal candidate has previous finish or trim carpentry experience; however, we are willing to train and are flexible on experience for the right person. We're looking for someone who is hardworking, dependable, trustworthy, and takes pride in quality craftsmanship.

• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications
• Prepare materials and work areas for construction and finishing
• Install baseboards, trim, doors, cabinets, flooring, and other finish materials
• Complete framing and general carpentry work as needed
• Assist with demolition, decks, door and window installation, drywall, painting, and other construction tasks
• Complete projects independently and collaborate with other carpentry personnel
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Follow all company safety procedures and protocols
• Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and project leads
• Assist with job site cleanup and other duties as assigned

• Carpentry or construction experience preferred, particularly in finish and trim work
• Ability to read, understand, and build according to plans and customer specifications
• Ability to work independently while also taking direction and working effectively as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Dependable and punctual
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule when needed
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, with occasional additional hours as projects or weather conditions require

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate company vehicles
• Driving record free of violations involving drugs, alcohol, or controlled substances within the past 48 months
• Driver's license must not be suspended or revoked
• Ability to pass required drug screening and background check
