Child In Need Of Services Specialists

RSR Human Service Zone is seeking a Child In Need Of Services Specialists in West Central North Dakota (Bismarck/Mandan region). Join our statewide CHINS Unit, employed through RSR Human Service Zone! This position is responsible for receiving referrals from community partners, engaging with youth and families providing service navigation and support to deter youth from child welfare and juvenile justice involvement.

RSR Human Service Zone partners with the Department of Health and Human Services to deliver exceptional human service programs to our community. To succeed in this position, you will have a passion for helping others and making a difference in our community. This position maintains responsibilities of a highly complex and sensitive nature and requires a high degree of knowledge, skills, and community resources.

You will need to be independent and self-motivated, as well as creative in approaching your job duties. This position also requires coordination with families, schools, law enforcement, juvenile court and human service zones, while ensuring timely and quality service provision. This position may require occasional after-hours/non-traditional working hours. Frequent travel throughout a multi-county area in the Bismarck-Mandan area. To be considered for this role:
You must hold a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, human development, education, human services, child development and family science or criminal justice and five years of professional work experiences as a foster care licenser, social worker, child protective service worker or professional case manager.
