Child Services Specialist

RSR Human Service Zone is seeking a Child in Need of Services Specialist in West Central North Dakota (Bismarck/Mandan region).

• Receive referrals from community partners and assess youth and families.
• Engage with youth and families, providing service navigation and support to deter involvement in child welfare and juvenile justice.
• Coordinate with families, schools, law enforcement, juvenile court, and human service zones to ensure timely and quality service provision.
• Maintain records and reports, keeping a high degree of confidentiality.
• Travel frequently throughout the Bismarck-Mandan area and be available for occasional after‑hours and non‑traditional working hours.

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, human development, education, human services, child development and family science, or criminal justice.
• Five years of professional experience as a foster care licenser, social worker, child protective service worker, or professional case manager.
