Responsibilities
- Conduct treatment court applicant interviews, assessments, and coordinate admission into the program
- Organize, attend, and participate in pre-court staffing, court hearings, conferences, meetings, and committees
- Work closely with state courts, prosecutors, defense attorneys, law enforcement, treatment providers, and community stakeholders
- Provide weekly updates to drug court team members
- Maintain treatment court program statistical data
- Purchase and manage incentives and maintain a budget
- Facilitate behavior change groups
- Manage and update treatment court forms
- Promote adherence to adult treatment court best practice standards
- Develop criminal justice/community stakeholder relations to improve supervision and agency coordination
- Assist with case management responsibilities as needed
Requires a High School diploma or GED and 60 college credits applicable to a bachelor's degree in behavioral science is preferred. The appointing authority shall designate specific degree and experience requirements pertinent to the position at the time of recruitment. Must be able to meet strict deadlines, manage time independently, have proficient oral and written communication skills and be able to work as a part of a team.
