As a Corrections Officer, you will:
- Serve as a positive, pro-social role model for residents, build rapport, observe behavior, and apply dynamic security principles, maintain the safety and security of residents, staff, and the community, work as part of a cohesive, supportive team of professionals, uphold standards that support rehabilitation and personal growth.
- A high school diploma or GED
- The ability to complete all pre-employment requirements, including a background check and fingerprinting
- A commitment to integrity, professionalism, and teamwork

Candidates who are North Dakota residents and eligible for veteran s preference must upload a DD-214. Those claiming disabled veteran s preference must also provide a current statement of disabled status from the VA.
