MDUR Corp Campus, 1200 W Century Avenue, Bismarck, ND 58503, USA

The internship provides experience with programming assignments including coding, testing, debugging, and installing programs according to written specifications, policies, procedures, and standards. Interns assist with the design of enhancements to existing systems, mentor by and provide assistance to the System Analyst/Programmers, and prioritize safety in all day‑to‑day work.

This position may be eligible for scholarship funding.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Undergraduate student currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Other Requirements
  • Familiarity with software development languages such as Java, .Net, and full‑stack web application skills.
  • Ability to take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber‑attack, damage or unauthorized access.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States; no sponsor ships considered.
  • Subject to pre‑employment drug testing and background checks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled sophomore or junior in undergraduate study program.
Job Responsibilities
  • Complete modifications to existing programs to correct known problems or implement changes requested by the user.
  • Devise, document and conduct unit tests of modified and new programs in accordance with specifications.
  • Assist in analysis with a Software Developer and user to automate or enhance business processes.
  • Modify existing program documentation to meet established standards.
  • Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.

Work hours may vary from 15–20 hours per week, dependent on business need and college schedule. Up to 40 hours per week may be available during summer and other school breaks.

Hourly Wage $19.50
