Full Time Aircraft Refueling Technician:
Afternoon Shift
Summary of Job: We are currently hiring a full time Aircraft Fueling Technician. Work in an elite industry with a great team of aircraft professionals. In this career, you will see a wide variety of aircraft and meet some of the most interesting people from all around the world.
Previous experience is not required, as we will provide all of the necessary training for success on the job. Job responsibilities include anticipating customer needs before they ask, fueling aircraft, operating unique equipment, and moving aircraft to and from aircraft storage hangars.
The Ideal Candidate will be a great team player, independent, problem solver, self-starter, resourceful, hospitable, professional, and willing to learn how to operate unique service delivery equipment.
Job Requirements- Be apart of a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
- Welcome travelers to the Bis Man community.
- Conduct fueling operations with the highest level of customer service.
- Conduct fueling operations with the highest level of safety.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections.
- Responsible for movement and hangaring of aircraft.
- Responsible to conduct fuel quality inspections.
- Assist with answering phones and general administrative tasks.
- Responsible for Facilities and Grounds Maintenance including but not limited to general housekeeping and repairs.
- Operate industry specific equipment as needed.
- Supplies ground power, heats and de-ices aircraft as needed.
- Responsible to assist other departments with additional tasks.
- Other Duties as Assigned.
- The ability to demonstrate working independently, with a diverse population, and with considerable interruptions is essential.
- Driver’s license required.
- Good customer service and phone skills.
- Must maintain a positive and professional attitude around customers and peers.
- Must have excellent communication skills orally and written.
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Basic arithmetic and record keeping skills a must.
- Adhere to regulatory and training guidelines.
- Proven track record of being accountable.
- Occasional lifting of 50-75 lbs
- EOE.
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing required.
- FAA Safety Sensitive Random Drug Program.
- Must be able to obtain TSA security clearance.
- 40 hours/week.
