ROLE
OVERVIEW:
This is a seasonal position, you can use your winters off to travel, hunt, fish or for other activities you enjoy while your benefits continue year-round.
DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES
Pre and post trip inspections. Maintains driver logs when applicable.Daily maintenance of equipment such as cleaning truck inside and out, greasing, oiling, brakes, lights and any other maintenance instructed to perform.Recognize surroundings and practice traffic awareness to maintain a safe environment.Clean spilled material/buildup off box, belt, and gates.Verify that gates are closed.Discharge product.Maintain proper information in truck cab pouch.Report information accurately and completely on daily timecards, truck cab information and other needed paperwork.Maintain and support a safe and harassment free work environment.Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written).Ability to read maps and navigate to new locations.Must be self-motivated, team-player with excellent interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive attitude and act courteous and respectful toward others.Ability to work with minimum supervision and recognize matters needing attention and initiate action on that recognition.Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and the public.Performs other duties as assigned.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Class A License with air brakes required. Doubles, triples, hazmat, and tanker endorsements, preferred.Previous truck driving experience, preferred.Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime.BENEFITS:
