Driver Position

Are you dependable, organized, and looking to make a difference in people's lives? Heartview Foundation is seeking a responsible and compassionate driver to transport our patients safely and support the residential team as needed. This role plays a key part in ensuring patients get where they need to be—safely, on time, and with care.

Schedule:

Part-Time| 20-29 Hours per Week

Working hours vary based on the patient transportation schedule, appointment times, and travel distances. Flexibility is required to accommodate changing transportation needs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Safely transport patients and packages to scheduled locations.
  • Use navigation tools to plan efficient routes and avoid delays.
  • Maintain accurate travel logs and communicate with staff regarding departure and arrival times.
  • Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and well-maintained.
  • Assist with errands, basic facility maintenance, and other residential needs.
  • Provide respectful and professional interactions with patients and staff.

Requirements:

What you'll need:

  • High school diploma or GED
    - Required
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
    - Required
  • At least one year of driving experience
    - Preferred
  • First Aid/CPR and Narcan certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)
  • Ability to lift 35–50 lbs. and handle physical tasks
  • A reliable phone with GPS and communication capabilities
