Position Overview
:
Loenbro Pipeline Group is seeking a CDL Driver to deliver equipment, machinery, parts, materials to construction project sites.
As a Construction Site Material Delivery Driver, your primary responsibilities will include loading, transporting, and delivering products to designated locations. We offer a competitive salary, a full range of benefits, a challenging work environment, and growth potential.

Job Duties
  • Responsible for loading, unloading, reloading and delivery of product or equipment to various destinations. This could involve lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying boxes, chains and other items weighing up to seventy-five pounds.
  • Unload trailer and reload with equipment or other items being returned to various locations.
  • Control and document all applicable written reports and procedures.
  • Understand how to hook and unhook to diverse types of trailers.
  • The driver is responsible for keeping the exterior and interior of the truck clean.
  • Drivers will be responsible for the load being properly secured of all types of equipment or cargo and ensure that all securement devices are in good order.
  • Proper handling and accurate completion of all necessary paperwork related to truck operations and product movements to include both state and county permits. For other states permits are required as needed.
  • Inspect truck/trailer(s) for defects and safe operating condition before, during and after trips, and submit written report on the condition of the truck/trailers(s) at the end of each trip or tour of duty.
  • Check shipping papers to determine the nature of product being transported, destination or delivery location and/or any special unloading instructions.
  • Ensure all shipping documentation required to move with shipments is available for inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies shipment when delivered.
  • Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations including drivers logs, records of fuel purchases, mileage records, and other documents required by law.
  • Report all accidents involving driver, company equipment, and/or private property to your immediate Supervisor, Safety personnel, or DOT Compliance person. Report all safety hazards to your immediate Supervisor or Safety Personnel (DOT or Safety).
  • Perform all other job duties as assigned.
Skill/Qualifications
  • It is necessary to have a mechanical aptitude.
  • The use of basic hand tools is necessary.
  • 2 years’ experience in heavy equipment/forklift operating.
  • Ability to perform pre-trip inspection to ensure loads are secured correctly.
  • Ensure all required wide load signage and flags are in place and visible.
  • Responsible for truck/trailer and all safety equipment being in proper working condition.
  • Always be professional and courteous.
  • Must have a current/valid medical card or possess the ability to obtain one.
  • Class A CDL is required.
  • Drive truck to destinations in accordance with Federal regulations. This includes no cell phone use unless using a hands-free device and always using seatbelts.
  • Flexible working in house when no deliveries are on schedule.
  • OSHA
    10 preferred.
