Position
Water and Sewer Department Crewman, Bixby, OK
ResponsibilitiesPerforms a variety of maintenance work and operates a variety of equipment in the construction, operation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of city water supply, treatment or distribution facilities and systems and wastewater collection systems.
Benefits- Health, Dental, and Life Insurance coverage paid 100% by the City, with employee responsibility for dependent fees.
- City provides $20,000 in life insurance for the employee, with option to purchase additional coverage.
- Vision, AFLAC, and Flexible Spending Accounts available to employees at their expense.
- Retirement through OPERS: employee contributes 3.5% bi‑weekly and City contributes 16.5%.
- College reimbursement up to 50% of tuition costs with an annual limit of $1,500 for courses related to the job.
- 13 paid holidays per year.
- Vacation: 5 days after 6 months; an additional 5 days after 1 year; 15 days after 7‑12 years; 20 days after 13‑14 years; 25 days after 15‑20 years; 30 days after 20+ years.
- After 30 days full‑time employment, accrue 1 day (8 hours) sick leave per month.
