Lead the strategic and operational delivery of rostering, temporary staffing and workforce deployment services across the Group. Drive workforce efficiency, productivity and cost improvement initiatives through effective workforce planning and deployment. Oversee the development, optimisation and governance of Health Roster, Staff Bank and associated workforce systems. Lead workforce transformation and service improvement programmes to enhance operational performance and staff experience. Develop and monitor performance metrics, reporting frameworks and workforce intelligence to support informed decision-making.
Provide expert advice and support to senior leaders on rostering, resourcing and workforce planning matters. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, workforce policies, governance standards and rostering best practice. Manage delegated budgets, contracts and resources, ensuring value for money and delivery of financial objectives. Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team through compassionate, inclusive and empowering leadership. Build strong relationships with stakeholders across operational, corporate and clinical services to deliver organisational priorities.
Support the delivery of the Group Workforce Strategy, NHS workforce priorities and long-term workforce sustainability plans. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, staff engagement and excellent service delivery. This role offers an excellent opportunity to influence workforce strategy and transformation across the Group, helping to ensure the right workforce is in the right place at the right time to deliver outstanding patient care
