Job Summary:
The Assembler is responsible for constructing and assembling heat exchangers and related components using hand tools, blueprints, and assembly instructions while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
- Assemble heat exchangers using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Install structural components, motors, drive systems, and fan assemblies.
- Properly identify and use hardware, fasteners, and assembly materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
- Complete assigned work according to production schedules.
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- This position is considered safety-sensitive under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act.
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- This position works in a manufacturing facility that is not climate controlled. Employees are regularly exposed to loud noise, dust, dirt, and metal particles commonly found in metal fabrication environments. Required personal protective equipment (PPE) includes safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe or OSHA-compliant safety footwear, and additional protective equipment such as paint masks or respirators when required.
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Frequently bend, kneel, stoop, climb ladders, and reach overhead.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Possess the visual ability to inspect parts, read measurements, and perform detailed assembly work.
