Join a fast-growing, family-oriented manufacturing facility as a Welder, focusing primarily on MIG welding steel building materials. You will use your welding and fabrication skills to produce high-quality components that meet blueprint specifications and support ongoing construction and manufacturing projects.

• Perform MIG welding on steel building materials with consistent quality and adherence to specifications.
• Interpret and work from blueprints to ensure accurate dimensions, layouts, and weld placements.
• Use fabrication techniques to cut, fit, and assemble steel components prior to welding.
• Apply spray arc welding processes where required to achieve strong, reliable welds.
• Operate MIG and, when needed, TIG welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect welds and finished products to verify structural integrity and compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain welding equipment, including welding hoods and tools, in proper working condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines within the manufacturing facility.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Support occasional Saturday work to fulfill production demands and customer requirements.

• Proficiency in MIG welding on steel materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints for fabrication and welding tasks.
• Experience with steel fabrication, including cutting, fitting, and assembling components.
• Knowledge and practical use of spray arc welding techniques.
• Capability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing facility environment.
• Ownership and use of a welding hood.

• Experience with TIG welding is a plus.
• Experience with stick welding is a plus.
• Experience with flux welding processes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work overtime hours, including occasional Saturdays, as needed.

This role is based in a manufacturing facility with a structured full-time schedule:
Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., a one-hour lunch break, and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional Saturday shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., averaging around 54 hours per week. You will work with MIG and TIG welding equipment, steel fabrication tools, and follow standard industrial safety practices. Proper protective gear, including a welding hood, is required to ensure a safe and professional work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chickasha, OK.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
