ResponsibilitiesAs a Mechanic‑in‑Training, you’ll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services—uninterrupted. Based in Bixby, OK, you’ll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on water treatment plants, related equipment, buildings, structures, machinery, and more. You’ll lubricate equipment, check for malfunctions, replace packing in pumps or valves, replace bearings, tune engines, set valve clearances, clean and adjust regulators, examine failures to identify causes, install new equipment, clean and paint interiors and exteriors, perform plumbing and pipe fitting tasks, use gas or arc welding, perform painter duties as needed, assist in maintaining records, and other duties as required.

- A valid driver’s license with no major infractions
- Experience in the maintenance of water/wastewater treatment plants and related equipment, or similar maintenance experience
- A valid Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) certification or ability to obtain within 3 years of date of hire
- Experience in the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Forklift experience
- Experience in serving municipal utility clients
- Safe work practices

BenefitsThe base salary range for this position is $36,100.00 to $51,700.00; the position is paid hourly based on hours worked. Employees have access to medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off (starting at 17 days per calendar year), seven paid holidays, caregiver leave, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discount, in addition to legally mandated benefits.
