Overview
Provide receptionist support.
Responsibilities- Review client applications for emergency services to determine eligibility.
- Establish and maintain new client files.
- Refer eligible clients to appropriate CC Idaho programs or departments.
- Refer non-eligible clients to appropriate community agencies and perform follow-up inquiries on referrals.
- Input/process data and maintain records, files, reports, databases, and schedules.
- Prepare, maintain, and update client ledger of expenses, including weekly report.
- Process bills, payment requests, and related financial documents; maintain expense ledger to ensure budget compliance.
- Prepare, receive, and route incoming/outgoing correspondence, mail, and letters.
- Provide receptionist support; order supplies and materials.
- Perform receptionist duties for other departments in the absence of the assigned receptionist.
- Translate for non-English speaking clients; translate records, reports, letters, and related documents.
- Knowledge of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and composition.
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping practices and procedures.
- Manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and pay close attention to detail.
- Maintain standards of confidentiality of CC Idaho clients and records.
- Perform all work duties and activities in accordance with CC Idaho policies, procedures, and safety.
- Is frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
May be exposed to electrical shock and fumes or airborne particles; the work may be stressful; the noise level is usually moderate.
