Position: INTAKE & ASSESSMENT CLERK - E&T - Blackfoot

Overview

Provide receptionist support.

Responsibilities
  • Review client applications for emergency services to determine eligibility.
  • Establish and maintain new client files.
  • Refer eligible clients to appropriate CC Idaho programs or departments.
  • Refer non-eligible clients to appropriate community agencies and perform follow-up inquiries on referrals.
  • Input/process data and maintain records, files, reports, databases, and schedules.
  • Prepare, maintain, and update client ledger of expenses, including weekly report.
  • Process bills, payment requests, and related financial documents; maintain expense ledger to ensure budget compliance.
  • Prepare, receive, and route incoming/outgoing correspondence, mail, and letters.
  • Provide receptionist support; order supplies and materials.
  • Perform receptionist duties for other departments in the absence of the assigned receptionist.
  • Translate for non-English speaking clients; translate records, reports, letters, and related documents.
  • Knowledge of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and composition.
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping practices and procedures.
  • Manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and pay close attention to detail.
  • Maintain standards of confidentiality of CC Idaho clients and records.
  • Perform all work duties and activities in accordance with CC Idaho policies, procedures, and safety.
Required Physical Demands
  • Is frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; reach with hands and arms.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment

May be exposed to electrical shock and fumes or airborne particles; the work may be stressful; the noise level is usually moderate.
