Blackfoot School District No. 55 is seeking applicants for the following position:
Speech/Debate Teacher at Blackfoot High School.

Position Status: Full-time for the  school year.

Starting Date: August 17, 2026.

Salary: Placement on District No. 55 26-27 Teacher Salary Schedule.

Benefits: 4-Day School Week, 161 Day Contract with State Insurance Plan of Health, Dental and Vision coverage with affordable dependent and family coverage.

• Qualifications: Must have at least a bachelor’s degree and possess or be eligible for a secondary teaching certificate endorsed for English or Communications issued by the state of Idaho.
• Job description: Will be responsible for teaching speech and debate curriculum to students enrolled in grades 9-12 at Blackfoot High School and other duties as assigned by the building principal.
