Job DetailsBlackfoot School District No. 55 is seeking a full‑time 2nd grade teacher for the school year. The position will start on August 17, 2026.
Compensation and Benefits- Placement on District No. Teacher Salary Schedule.
- 4‑day school week.
- 161‑day contract with state insurance plan covering health, dental, and vision with affordable dependent and family coverage.
- Teach elementary curriculum to 2nd grade students at Riverbend Elementary School.
- Perform other duties assigned by the building administrator.
- At least a bachelor’s degree.
- Possess or be eligible for an Elementary Teaching Credential issued by the state of Idaho.
- Citizenship, residency, or valid work visa.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Completed certified application, résumé, transcripts, credentials, letters of recommendation, verification of high‑qualified teaching status, and Idaho teaching certificate.
