Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Grove Creek Medical Center | Full-Time | Night Shifts (Orient on days)

Grove Creek Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled, compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery team. Our birthing center is dedicated to providing exceptional maternal-newborn care in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

We're looking for an RN who combines clinical excellence with empathy - someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, adapts confidently to change, communicates effectively, and values teamwork. A passion for caring for mothers, babies, and families during one of life's most meaningful moments is essential.

Position Requirements

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Licensure &

Certifications:

Current Idaho RN License

BLS (required upon hire)

NRP, ACLS, STABLE, and AWHONN Basic as well as Baby Friendly Training Course (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)

Skills &

Qualifications:

Demonstrated clinical competence in acute care nursing

Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Detail-oriented with sound clinical judgment

Essential Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care in Triage, Labor & Delivery, Operating Room, Postpartum, and Nursery settings

Establish patient care priorities and implement appropriate nursing interventions

Deliver safe, evidence-based care aligned with scope of service standards

Support families with compassion, professionalism, and clinical expertise throughout the birth experience
