JBT is looking for an energized and flexible self-starter to fill a full-time opening for a Dispatch/Logistics Administrative Assistant
1. This is an entry-level position.
- Assist with communication with shop on trailer repairs.
- Help with daily paperwork.
- Basic knowledge of truck regulations.
- Dry out process.
- BOL review.
- Understand plant code and m.
- Assist with truck dispatching and logistics.
- Actively participate in driver safety and training.
- Maintain driver information in LME and on the system.
- Ensure LME and Samsara are always current with the correct truck, driver, and trailers.
- Assist with various projects in coordination with the manager.
To be a strong fit for this opportunity you will have:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year work experience in administrative work
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- Good written, oral and reading skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Multitask oriented, organized, set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Highly resourceful; has the ability to solve problems independently and create useful and unique solutions in challenging situations.
- Safety experience and training a plus.
