We are looking for enthusiastic Nursery Assistants in Blackpool with availability from Monday to Friday for ad-hoc roles starting soon. You can earn a competitive rate of £13-£14 per hour while having the freedom to choose your workdays.

As a Nursery Assistant, you will help create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their growth through fun and educational activities. If you hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education, possess an NVQ or CACHE certificate, and have relevant experience, we encourage you to apply. Permanent positions may be offered to suitable candidates, providing a great opportunity to advance your career.

• Assisting teachers with lessons and managing classroom behaviour.
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children.
• Designing engaging activities for the children in your care.
• Teaching basic life skills, such as hygiene and good manners.
• Communicating effectively with children, staff, parents, and carers.
• Tailoring your support to meet the individual needs of each child.

• Regular review of your AWR period by a dedicated consultant.

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one).
• Minimum 6 months experience working with children (with 2 professional references).
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• A genuine passion, patience, and sensitivity for working with children.
• CACHE L2/L3 or direct nursery experience preferred.
• Good understanding of EYFS
