FLOATING VEHICLE TECHNICIAN

Location:

Covering Blackpool, Southport, Morecambe & Kendal
Salary: OTE £30,000 - £50,000 (Basic Salary Dependent on Experience)

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm | 40 Hours Per Week | Saturday Morning Rota (Paid at Time and a Half)

THE ROLE
As a Floating Vehicle Technician, you'll provide technical support across multiple dealership workshops, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to the highest manufacturer standards.

Key responsibilities include:

· Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on a range of vehicles

· Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults accurately

· Completing repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship

· Conducting vehicle road tests where required

· Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and health & safety standards

· Accurately completing workshop documentation and job cards

· Handling vehicle parts correctly and maintaining workshop standards

· Supporting different dealership teams while delivering exceptional customer service

· Travelling between dealership locations across the North West as required
 
ABOUT YOU
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:

· NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

· Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry

· Strong servicing, maintenance, and diagnostic skills

· EV/Hybrid qualification desirable but not essential

· MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential

· Willingness to travel between dealership sites

· A positive, flexible, and team-focused attitude

· Full UK Manual Driving Licence
