FLOATING VEHICLE TECHNICIAN
Location:
Covering Blackpool, Southport, Morecambe & Kendal
Salary: OTE £30,000 - £50,000 (Basic Salary Dependent on Experience)
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm 40 Hours Per Week Saturday Morning Rota (Paid at Time and a Half)

THE ROLE
As a Floating Vehicle Technician, you'll provide technical support across multiple dealership workshops, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to the highest manufacturer standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on a range of vehicles
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults accurately
Completing repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Conducting vehicle road tests where required
Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and health & safety standards
Accurately completing workshop documentation and job cards
Handling vehicle parts correctly and maintaining workshop standards
Supporting different dealership teams while delivering exceptional customer service
Travelling between dealership locations across the North West as required
ABOUT YOU
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry
Strong servicing, maintenance, and diagnostic skills
EV/Hybrid qualification desirable but not essential
MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential
Willingness to travel between dealership sites
A positive, flexible, and team-focused attitude
Full UK Manual Driving Licence
